Associations & Memberships
International Association of Certified Home Inspectors: As a member of InterNACHI, we stay current with applicable building standards and regulations, gathers information from other industry professionals, participates in ongoing educational opportunities and endeavors to remain skilled in inspection techniques and reporting requirements.
National Radon Safety Board: We are members of the NRSB and our inspectors are Certified Radon Measuring Specialists. Radon is an odorless, colorless, and tasteless gas caused by naturally decomposing radioactive elements in the soil. Its presence is measured in picoCuries per liter of air, or pCi/L. It can get “trapped” inside a structure and build up to unsafe levels. Anything over 4 pCi/L is unsafe—and a leading cause of lung cancer. Testing is simple—we leave a testing device on the lowest level of the home for 48 hours, then take the average reading.
American Society of Civil Engineers: ASCE is a leading provider of technical and professional conferences and continuing education, the world’s largest publisher of civil engineering content, and an authoritative source for codes and standards that protect the public. Civil engineers design, build, and maintain the foundation for our modern society – our roads and bridges, drinking water and energy systems, sea ports and airports, and the infrastructure for a cleaner environment, to name just a few.

It is not necessary for you to be present during the inspection, however, it is recommended. You will be able to observe the inspection and ask questions directly, as you learn about the condition of the property.
Can my agent be there too?
Yes! Agents are encouraged to be there and be engaged so they can know what they are writing up in your Repair Request Addendum.
How do I pay for the inspection?
We accept cash, check, or credit cards at the time of inspection. If you can not attend the inspection you may pay online or via phone. Payment is due prior to the inspection.
How long does the inspection take?
A property inspection typically takes between 2 and 3 hours depending on the size and complexity of the property.
The Report
What should I be looking for?
Our reports have many images to help you recall what you are looking at. We break down the reports into areas that are safety hazards and other recommended items to repair/evaluate.
Will there be recommendations on who to call?
Each defect outlines which type of contractor you will need to contact for quotes and professional construction advise. We can provide additional information at your request.
